We were there we saw it all, the jazzed words of local Motion's very own Jason Van Driesche, the many helmeted folks with bikes in hand, and the kick off from Mayor Miro.  Like many other individuals and businesses, One Rev is trying to hold strong in the summer long challenge to take biking to the next level.  I can say for myself while I bike around alot, the challenge has pushed me to take some extra long trips and I only hope to plan for more.  Check it out and sign up to today at http://www.endomondo.com/campaign/national see how we and many others rank in Vermont and Nationally.

Many people ask us where their food scraps are going after it has left our trailers, and we are proud to say that all of the diverted and collected food scraps go to Green Mountain Compost.  A couple of us spent the day at Green Mountain Compost talking to folks at Compost fest and couldn't say enough positive things about the facility and all the compost spirit that emanated that day. 

Just in time for the holiday season, Revolution Compost is excited to announce our Neighbor Deal! With a year under our belt and a handful of amazing coustmers, we're hoping to help them out with promoting our service on an even more local scale.  So join today to take advantage of this great deal, and for those residing on a street we don't currently service - get the wheels rolling and will do the same. Global Work Party in Burlington

 

On October 10th 2010, people across the planet picked up hammers, shovels, and caulking-guns to join the 10/10/10 Global Work Party, the world’s largest day of practical action to fight the climate crisis. Here in Burlington, we will join the global action by converging at Battery Park, then fanning out across the city and get to work on projects hosted by local organizations including: City Market, Intervale Conservation Nursery, Burlington Bike Coalition, the Chittenden County Transportation Authority, and more! These projects will improve our city while fighting climate change and raising awareness about and celebrate climate solutions.

Our Metrofiet, the newest addition to our cargo bike collection, is currently being built in Portland, Oregon. The bike will soon be shipped to the Old Spokes Home here in Burlington and, after a bit of assembly, will be up and running.
