Global Work Party in Burlington
On October 10th 2010, people across the planet picked up hammers, shovels, and caulking-guns to join the 10/10/10 Global Work Party, the world’s largest day of practical action to fight the climate crisis. Here in Burlington, we will join the global action by converging at Battery Park, then fanning out across the city and get to work on projects hosted by local organizations including: City Market, Intervale Conservation Nursery, Burlington Bike Coalition, the Chittenden County Transportation Authority, and more! These projects will improve our city while fighting climate change and raising awareness about and celebrate climate solutions.

-:)They will feature live entertainment like "The compromise" and table reservations are available if you want to sit down for $15/person. They don't charge any extra for dinner at this event which is a great bonus. **+**
