Vermont Bikes at Work
One Revolution began bike delivery, pick-up and advertising services on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in Burlington, Winooski, Colchester and Shelburne. More than a typical courier serve, One Revolution is upping the cargo load to transport CSA shares, catered meals and more to residents and workers across Burlington and surrounding towns. Using one of three specialized cargo bikes, One Revolution riders are cycling through your community delivering goods and services. Global Work Party in Burlington
On October 10th 2010, people across the planet picked up hammers, shovels, and caulking-guns to join the 10/10/10 Global Work Party, the world’s largest day of practical action to fight the climate crisis. Here in Burlington, we will join the global action by converging at Battery Park, then fanning out across the city and get to work on projects hosted by local organizations including: City Market, Intervale Conservation Nursery, Burlington Bike Coalition, the Chittenden County Transportation Authority, and more! These projects will improve our city while fighting climate change and raising awareness about and celebrate climate solutions.

Our New Metrofeits Cargo Bike!
Our new cargo bicycle from Metrofeits of Portland Oregon arrived in Burlington just a week before the 4th and was assembled at the Old Spokes Home! Check out their Flickr account for pics! We're excited to start using this amazing bike (and the electric assist motor) for deliveries!
Assembly of the Metrofiet
Our Metrofiet, the newest addition to our cargo bike collection, is currently being built in Portland, Oregon. The bike will soon be shipped to the Old Spokes Home here in Burlington and, after a bit of assembly, will be up and running.
